CNC Machining

CNC handles most of what we make. 3-axis, 5-axis, mill-turn, Swiss. Metals and engineering plastics: prototype in days, serial production over months. We match the shop to the part: envelope, material, tolerance, inspection. Material certs and FAIR reports where you need them.

Inspection
CMM, optical, FAIR reports, material certs, PPAP on request

When it fits

  • Prototype through serial production
  • Complex geometry requiring multi-axis milling
  • Tight tolerances or critical surface finishes
  • Low volumes where tooling investment would be wasted
  • Material flexibility. Switching alloys or grades between runs.

When it does not

  • Very high volumes where net-shape processes (casting, forging) are cheaper
  • Parts with features no mill can reach without expensive custom fixturing

Common materials

Aluminum 6061-T6 · Stainless 316L · Ti-6Al-4V · POM (Delrin) · Tool steel D2

Typical lead time

Prototype: 1 to 3 weeks. Serial production: 4 to 8 weeks.
